What shoes to wear to work in winter

Since I have been wearing suits for quite a long time now, I wanted to make a post on the shoes I wear in winter.

My shoes are a little old, so I am taking some lookalikes from the internet.

In general: These half boots with a slimmer heel always look a little more elegant. I can also recommend to take a round shape rather than a pointy one, simply because a rounder is more comfortable. If you always have cold feet, I can recommend buying the shoes one size larger, and inserting a wool sole.

For grey or black (which I don’t own) suits I wear black shoes.

If you are wearing Skirts/ Dresses, I can recommend black or dark blue ankle booties with dark tights (Although I only have black ones):

One example I found on the net similar to these are:

To blue suits, I would recommend wearing brown half booties like this:

For snow, I have similar half boots similar to these. Their sole is thicker and protects you better against the cold.

If you are more for the casual style, do it like Ellen Degeneres and wear sneaks to your suit.FullSizeRender.jpg

These shoes are from adidas:
